BREAKING NEWS: Takiguchi, the owner of Takiguchi Sports in Kutchan, has finally sold what may have been the most sought after land in Niseko-Hirafu... Seico Mart across from FujiZushi on the main road, between Abucha and the Hokkaido Tracks sales office. Whether Abucha was part of this particular deal is not clear, but what is clear is that the plots of land that Seico Mart and Abucha sit on are now both owned by the same foreign investor. With the sale of the massive White Bear pension also eagerly anticipated (rumors are flying, owner's denying, this pension has every developer in Niseko salivating... inside sources claim it's a done deal, but no announcement has yet been made), there will only be two Japanese-owned blocks of property left on the main stretch where route 343 meets the road leading up to the Alpen Hotel and Grand HIrafu's ace quad lift: FujiZushi and the plot of land next to Hokkaido Tracks.
